So, the world is going to end...

As I write this we are approaching May 21, 2011 - the end of the world. I have a strong sense of de'ja'vue here, it seems like I have heard this end of the world stuff somewhere before. I can't say for 100 percent certainty the world will not end on this coming Saturday, but I have a reasonable suspicion that I will wake up Sunday morning and things will be pretty much the same. I'm not about to stop paying my bills and give everything away in anticipation of the end of everything.

It does, however, present the writer with some plot ideas. There is a long history of end of the world predictors, and there are many more predicted ends yet to come. My money is on the Sun's expansion in about 4.5 billion years, but that does not mean I don't have a lot of ideas for stories that can be written while I wait to see what happens.

This is going to be my collected information on when the end will happen and what the cause will be for the destruction of our world. It is for any writer that needs to find out more about what is going to happen and when.
